Low Testosterone

Also called male hypogonadism, low testosterone condition happens when the testes don’t produce enough testosterone (male sex hormone) and is most common with men who are 45 years and older, although the natural decline starts at age 30.

There are a lot of causes for low testosterone, including alcohol abuse, metabolic disorders, injury or infection of the testes, cancer chemotherapy, estrogen excess, obesity, obstructive sleep apnea, and more.
