The sources of obesity are complex and stem, in most cases, from a combination of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Weight management needs to be looked at as a whole rather than considering it in isolation with an empathetic perspective. Obesity is not just a weakness, it’s also about discovering what works for you in strategies. A key indicator that physicians sometimes use to identify obesity is the Body Mass Index (BMI) as it pointedly informs us about how a patient should be approached and treated.

The journey to control obesity is personal and unique. In the end, no two cases are exactly the same. It can be different for everyone, and you must find what it takes for yourself in the long run. You MUST go to your consultant at regular visits, throughout the weight loss journey!. During these visits you should monitor YOUR RESULTS and REVIEW those results with your consultant so that adjustments might be done in the Plan Of Care.
